NEW ALBUM SPOTLIGHT: “Hymns for the Christian Life” by Keith and Kristyn Getty

On Tuesday, October 9, Keith and Kristyn Getty released their newest album “Hymns for the Christian Life” featuring many great new modern hymns and worship songs.

According to Keith, “We both wanted to write music for churches that changed the conversation in church music.”

The regular album version (12 songs) is $9.99 and the deluxe album version (15 songs) is $11.99 on iTunes.

This recording features hymns that have been released by the Getty’s for years (My Heart is Filled and In Christ Alone) plus many brand new songs.  Three songs feature duets with Kristry Getty and Ricky Skaggs, Alison Krauss, and Moya Brennan.  Also, this is the 10-year anniversary of “In Christ Alone” and the new recording is amazing!

Keith states, “Hymns for the Christian Life” is a fusion of Irish music and bluegrass and American folk-music.”
